An old man, an old woman and a goat all live in a village.
One day, the old man goes to the garden, and watches a UFO descend from the sky. In his garden the old man discovers the Newcomer, who resembles a big ant. The old man names the Newcomer Vanyusha and takes him in as his grandson.
The old man and the old women ask Vanyusha abouthis purpose on Earth. Vanyusha says he was sent to find the source of what is destroying ants near the village.
